While not a member of our collection of Norwegian Landscape Images, this sweet winter bird landscape drawing is by a Norwegian artist.?Theodor Severin Kittelsen?(1857 – 1914) was a popular artist who specialized in nature paintings, fairy tales and trolls. I’m not sure if this pretty black, grey, white and orange bird represents a bird found in nature or one that was part of a fairy tale. (If someone from that part of the world recognizes this pretty fellow, please drop me a line and let me know who or what he is.)
Thanks to the generosity of the National Library of Norway, everyone can enjoy this postcard that was published in the early 1900s. And, since they provided several sizes of this winter bird landscape, I thought I would offer two sizes?here on ReusableArt.com too.
